What is the Tigereyes Most Wanted Marvel Omnibus 13th Annual Secret Ballot?

The Tigereyes Most Wanted Marvel Omnibus 13th Annual Secret Ballot is a chance for comic fans across the internet to vote on their top omnibuses from Marvel Comics that don’t yet exist.

An “omnibus” is a premium format oversize hardcover volume that typically collects 15 to 60 issues of a single character, team, title, creator, or major storyline.

In the 12 years of this poll, it has gone from a write-in vote from a few hundred forum users to an internet-wide poll garnering thousands of votes a year and hosted on the Near Mint Condition YouTube channel. Starting with the 11th Annual Poll in 2023, Omar from Near Mint has shared the top vote-getters with the collected editions department at Marvel.

And, there’s been a heavy correlation between top poll placements and omnibus printings… even some otherwise surprising omnibus selections like ‘The Nam!

Because of the massive number of voters on the poll, Tigereyes and the Near Mint Condition team can no longer accept write-in votes. That could result in reconciling 500+ version of votes on essentially the same X-Men omnibus! Instead, the poll now features pre-mapped options.

Tigereyes, Krisis, & the Mapping Minties team behind the poll has researched Marvel history from the 1930s to the present day to list over 650 potential titles that account for the vast majority of Marvel Comics history comics that has never been comprehensively collected in omnibus format. From uncollected runs to magazines to licensed properties, we’ve got it all – including dozens of books voters requested we add in 2024.

How to vote on the Tigereyes Most Wanted Marvel Omnibus Poll

Voting on the poll will open on April 28 after a kickoff stream reviewing all of the poll options on Near Mint Condition.

Each voter can select up to 10 of their most-wanted omnibuses. Their #1 pick will get 10 points, their #2 pick will get 9 points, and so on – down to just 1 point for their final pick.

Voting will end on Thursday May 8th.

After the poll closes, the Near Mint Condition team will tabulate the results, which will be announced on stream on Thursday May 15th.

Voting Options on the Tigereyes Most Wanted Marvel Omnibus Poll

We know 600+ titles are a lot of options to browse, especially in the dropdowns on the poll! Even if you already know exactly what your Top 10 uncollected runs are, you might not be sure of their exact title on the poll.

To help you prepare for your vote, all of the titles from the poll are listed below on his page. You can review lists grouped by character, team, or comic line for in-depth explanations of every volume.

If you don’t see a title you want to vote for, leave a comment here or on the announcement stream. Krisis, Omar, & the rest of the team will try to help you find what you were looking for – or, we’ll add it to the list for 2026 if it wasn’t covered by our research this year.

One important note: Whenever you see that the poll includes multiple consecutive volumes for a comic run, we did that because two books would cover a whole run OR because the divide between books is unambiguous due to existing Masterworks volumes, a creator change, a story cadence that creates a natural breaking point between books.

If there was no natural break point, we simply said “(YEAR & on)” in the title to indicate the line would continue. That prevents voters from splintering votes across multiple titles rather than focusing them all on one book that would continue a line.

Example: The poll includes two omnibuses for Avengers by Jason Aaron, because it obviously cannot fit into a single volume and ends after the second volume, since the finale is already collected in omnibus

Example: The poll includes several Avengers classic omnibuses because that line has a firmly established convention for how many Marvel Masterworks fit into each omnibus. It extends to three potential books because the start of the third volume is obvious – it’s the beginning of Roger Stern’s run.

Example: For Marvel Comics Presents (1988) we only have a single title option for a Volume 1. Even though we can map the entire series, since it would take more than two volumes and doesn’t have definitive break points, we only present one volume for voting.

Example: For Black Widow, there are so many options to collect her material from 1999 and onward. We’ve simply listed that as “Black Widow: The Modern Years Vol. 1 (1999 & on)” rather than try to insert artificial breaks that people might not agree with or that would splinter votes across multiple books. The same is true for Moon Knight from 2011 to 2021.
