What I Tweeted, 2010-05-16 Edition

May 16, 2010 by krisis

My tweets of the last week:

  • @DirtMansion What? I cannot believe I missed you less than a mile from my house – and singing Tori! Saw your last tweet – hope you’re ok! in reply to DirtMansion #
  • I really don’t want to be at home right now. I also didn’t want to be sick for 24hrs, but no one seemed to ask my opinion about that, either #
  • If you can believe it, I think I was poisoned by bad movie theatre popcorn. Seriously. It maybe has broken my popcorn addiction entirely. #
  • Feeling much more human now after a day of bed rest, which is good, because I don’t think they give mortgages to other forms of life. #
  • I’m not interested in the creative things I usually do. Instead, I’m going to write a 10k word novella about our band being superheroes. #
  • @paullucci Did someone honestly sing that song? Good lord. Tim would have rocked movie night. in reply to paullucci #
  • I’ve never read @deadspin before, but based on this article columnist Drew Magary is clearly my long lost (crazy) twin. http://bit.ly/9bRnrv #
  • @amymengel WOW. It is like he’s inside my head. It’s always weird when you find someone who comes from an identical cultural reference point in reply to amymengel #
  • @brimil That is so very me. I wonder what he designed that in. in reply to brimil #
  • Now that Lee “may eventually sing a song in tune” Dewyze covered “Falling Slowly” on Idol I feel much less self-conscious about singing it. #
  • @SarahRobinson I haven’t heard it from tonight yet, and he did it with Crystal, so it might be salvageable, but dude can’t hit a note. in reply to SarahRobinson #
  • @SarahRobinson kris allen’s from last year’s american idol was pretty excellent – I stole some of his phrasing. in reply to SarahRobinson #
  • It’s a bit gray outside, but I’m already liking today because I am en route to the new house for inspections (and perhaps more video ;) #
  • We have a decision to make between 2 very important house-buying options right now where the only known variable is a difference of $16/mnth #
  • Meanwhile, I have discovered that real estate pros are v. unnerved when you have a laptop & can calculate price changes faster than they can #
  • @leesafar Thank you! I’m going to lose sleep over this, but it is certainly good to be down to such minor differences so quickly. in reply to leesafar #
  • Oscar catch-up continues. An Education was utterly robbed. So far the best 2009 film we’ve watched, & what a performance from Carey Mulligan #
  • @inflammatorywrt It kind of took my breath away. That’s the kind of spectacular, thoughtful, character-driven film I expect to reap awards. in reply to inflammatorywrt #
  • @SmashleyDubs I think you will like it. It’s a very old-fashioned movie. Also: FLYERS. That is all. in reply to SmashleyDubs #
  • I figure if we pack a box a day for the next 30 days I’ll ACTUALLY have time to play guitar all night prior to moving (which I’d do anyway). #
  • I just got the best Arlen Specter robo-call ever. It was from my friend Barack, and he was like, “sorry for interrupting your Sunday, dude.” #
  • I forgot how much fun it is to strike a set, esp. when I’m the 1st one w/a cordless power tool. Congrats to @ocelotonaleash on a great show! #
  • Glee’s Lea Michele & Idina Menzel duet on @LadyGaga‘s piano arrangement of Poker Face w/TONS of harmony. Amazing http://youtu.be/2zq4o-FlKbo #
  • I love how @LadyGaga plays anything she feels like on tv; here’s Brown Eyes w/the Living Dress on Jonathan Ross: http://youtu.be/mgd5xGJAv4w #
  • @Cecilyk I particularly love when she’s dressed in something ridiculous and realizes she can’t do a particular dance move in said outfit :) in reply to Cecilyk #
