What I Tweeted, 2011-03-06 Edition

March 6, 2011 by krisis

My tweets of the last week:

  • @girlinblack I pre-ordered the Blu-Ray the moment it had a page on Amazon :) in reply to girlinblack #
  • Good morning, world! After a surprisingly productive weekend I feel destined for greatness in March. What are your aspirations for the week? #
  • @SarahRobinson Indeed, some days it's the only thing edible in my entirely kitchen! in reply to SarahRobinson #
  • The new Gaga video is in a special league of terrible. My fears of her imminent crash and burn are increasing. #
  • @alexcmurphy It was more like Madonna staring as the Alien queen in Resurrection, with Fincher slipping in some Cold-Hearted Snake choreo. in reply to alexcmurphy #
  • @JoPincushion It's on VEVO on YouTube. I would describe it as NSFW, but I suppose that's a given at this point. in reply to JoPincushion #
  • @paullucci There's the grossness, but also the slapdashness of the mirrored shots, as well as not really having any awesome dancing. in reply to paullucci #
  • @alexcmurphy I'd like to think she's smart enough to avoid any legit acting, but who knows. She should remake Desperately Seeking Susan. in reply to alexcmurphy #
  • @eddidit @paullucci Like, usually her videos are right on the very edge of being trainwrecks but still manage to be awesome, but this one… in reply to eddidit #
  • @alexcmurphy Indeed, I think I trust her more in that role, and she does that for brands already (like Polaroid, where she has been awesome) in reply to alexcmurphy #
  • Nearly everyone in my personal life has been a willing part of a semi-pro staged performance? I forget coworkers don't all have that history #
  • 2 of 3 video shoots of the day wrapped in half the time allotted. Either my anxiety dreams were for nothing or they've proven very effective #
  • @inflammatorywrt It's so astounding bad. She finally crossed the line of taste she toes so carefully and transformed to full on train wreck. in reply to inflammatorywrt #
  • @inflammatorywrt HA! Was indeed thinking that – don't get drunk on your own kool aid when it comes to art and innovation. in reply to inflammatorywrt #
  • My daunting day turned out not too shabby – had a blast shooting new web videos w/the ever-charming @HealthyBites. Can't wait to debut them! #
  • Confirmed: See BOTH my bands in 1 PLACE for FREE! Arcati Crisis (electric!) & @Filmstarband (acoustic!) on 4/2 at Fergie's Pub, 13 & Sansom. #
  • @PurpleCar We only do the two-bands-at-once thing once or twice a year, & this will be the general public debut of electric Arcati Crisis :) in reply to PurpleCar #
  • I just discovered that I cannot watch "Scrubs" anymore because Sarah Chalke is @melgreiner's doppelganger, which makes it very confusing. #
  • @Cecilyk Good news! in reply to Cecilyk #
  • How everyone's favorite lunatic wound up on Twitter: RT @kenburbary The real story behind @charliesheen joining twitter http://ow.ly/46GTX #
  • Big gig we've booked months ago just informed us they only provide stage monitors at cost to the performers. Can't do harmony w/out monitors #
  • Temptation to cancel on them is high – not out of spite, but because I know from experience we sound like ass without a monitor mix. Ugh. #
  • Lesson learned: for big, electric shows we need a very specific band rider that we send as soon as we get booked. #
  • @gloriabell Any thoughts/ideas on if/when Marketing Camp will be this year? Lots of folks in my group really want to attend this year! #
  • @gloriabell I'd volunteer to help, but that's my "tearing my hair out" month :) @heathie @NellFerragamo @mktgcampphl in reply to gloriabell #
  • @gloriabell Gee, there's just @IBXRun10, 3+ shows with my bands, being in a wedding on 4/30, etc… :) in reply to gloriabell #
  • @not_pele At the (old) downstairs office for our Hunger Games book club ;) #
  • @amanda_nan @not_pele Both @melgreiner and our manager just finished book three over the weekend, we had to head out to discuss! in reply to amanda_nan #
  • @amanda_nan Clearly I realized when we took the gig; trying to elicit a promise that @foolingapril will play the LPs again this summer :) in reply to amanda_nan #
  • @amanda_nan @melissa_shae What fantastic writing. Pity it doesn't have a happy ending. in reply to amanda_nan #
  • Dreamt that I was in college & had to make a drum set out of found objects, & also raise two dozen chicks. What the hell was my dream major? #
  • @marykateruf Finally doing the Baron Netflix yoga. Dear lord. At 20 minutes my ass is kicked. #
  • @marykateruf Okay, I made it. Whew. I see how doing that regularly could really improve my practice. #
  • Tried my hand at driving with Saturday shoppers – a little too insane for me. The deals will still be there whether or not you honk, lady. #
  • @marykateruf It's definitely more of a body weight resistance workout for me with the upper body stuff and quickly switching poses. in reply to marykateruf #
  • @marykateruf Seems like a right balance of "I can do that" & "that's insane" for me. I definitely exclaimed almost as much as I do w/Jillian in reply to marykateruf #
  • @hulu_support Any word on when Hulu Plus will come to LG blu-ray players? Trying to hold out hope, but my excitement is starting to wane. #
  • Just watched Daybreakers. Wow. An awesome, fully-realized concept midway between Underworld & The Matrix. Plus, scary, non-sparkly Vampires! #
  • @marykateruf Now we can hold a bookclub session! Each one of them is uniquely thought-provoking, but one was such a big shocker @MelGreiner in reply to marykateruf #
  • Finally figured out the chords to a song I 1st wrote in 2004. So many newly freed circuits in my brain! Maybe now I will understand Calculus #
  • It took 3 MONTHS worth of weekends, but now I've been through all of my most playable songs (179 of 285) to update their arrangements & keys #
