What I Tweeted, 2011-05-02 Edition

May 1, 2011 by krisis

My tweets of the last week:

  • WTG, @SEPTA – your inability to keep a schedule means I have to travel twice as far to get to the airport. There goes an hour of a good week #
  • I don't know if I could be any angrier prior to 7am. I was running at the parked bus waving and he still pulled away (ahead of schedule). #
  • Okay, now that's over. Good morning! I hope you don't encounter a single delay to the start of a cheerful week. #
  • Leading exercise demos in the food court at the Philly Airport, because communications includes everything. #
  • Selecting contest winners is difficult business. So many amazing entries and stories to sift through – you wish you had 10x as many prizes! #
  • Just saw photos from Easter dinner, & I'm impossibly attractive. Clearly I should have doing a special Easter modeling gig instead of eating #
  • A sign in my gym said to be respectful and restrict "grunting." If I can't at least grunt while I work out I don't see the benefit of going. #
  • I mean, already I can't yell profanity @ my training device or sing Madonna, which is what I do when I work out @ home…sometimes as a mashup #
  • In other news, I just signed up to attend #140conf NYC 2011! Super-psyched to see the amazing speakers and make new awesome friends there. #
  • @TeresaBasich That's me to a tee. My ability to achieve anything (including sleep) begins to decline with each degree over 75! @startabuzz in reply to TeresaBasich #
  • With PlayStation Network the 3rd HUGE user-data breach in six months, it begs the question: is your info safe anywhere? http://bit.ly/dSwO6T #
  • Comic nerd alert: Artist Walt Simonson hits a msg board to detail art restoration/recoloring for his new Thor omnibus: http://bit.ly/fI2fai #
  • @suz925 There had better be some Santana action on that tune, is all I'm saying. in reply to suz925 #
  • @suz925 I'm kind of desperately in love with her. My iPod is on a constant cycle of "Valerie / Trouty Mouth" in reply to suz925 #
  • @suz925 Who is singing it?! in reply to suz925 #
  • @suz925 Hmm. Usually they keep them away from each other, since Quinn has that teeny girl-group voice. in reply to suz925 #
  • Three lead sheets in three hours. As always, rock is much harder work than it looks. #
  • @amanda_nan The bird calls are late & charming right now, but I'm getting ready for next month when they are early & making me miserable. in reply to amanda_nan #
  • @Not_Pele @toofeets @danhafner I'd be preliminarily in for that if we wouldn't be getting home too late. in reply to Not_Pele #
  • @DannyBrown Very good, so long as I keep my springtime allergies at bay :) How are you, Danny? in reply to DannyBrown #
  • @PensieveRobin Stay safe and sane, Robin! My thoughts are with you and your community. in reply to PensieveRobin #
  • Good morning! A little weary, but excited to be up, at work, & basking in the glow of a great rehearsal. Thoughts are w/friends in the South #
  • @DaddyScratches If I could just get them to FTP right out of my brain it would be really handy. in reply to DaddyScratches #
  • Philly Friends: If you (or a friend) design multimedia w/ Maya & Maxon Cinema I have a cool full-time job to refer you to in Ft. Washington. #
  • Feel free to RT that to your designer-oriented friends. It's such a specific set of skills & I want to refer someone who totally rocks! :) #
  • @lisamay77 I was literally just writing a DM to you :) in reply to lisamay77 #
  • @lisamay77 FYI, it's design for video (not web), & years of experience are flexible if they know those program suits well & have a porfolio in reply to lisamay77 #

  • Unless we're going with a capri look for men, my tux for this weekend's wedding came with CHILDREN'S PANTS. #
  • When the Romanian father of the Romanian bride instructs you in how to drink the Romanian vodka, you drink the Romanian vodka. #
  • @marykateruf @MelGreiner No literacy criticism from me at this point in the evening, but book three is CRAZY un-put-downable. in reply to marykateruf #
  • @inflammatorywrt Thank you for putting a voice to my state of affairs this morning. in reply to inflammatorywrt #
  • I frequently confuse Steve McQueen and Alexander McQueen. #
  • If you (or a friend) design multimedia w/ Maya & Maxon Cinema I have a cool full-time job w/benefits to refer you to in Ft. Washington, PA! #
  • Read #BossyPants in about 4hrs. The best part was when she talked about stuff I see on my trolley ride home. I LOL-ed only at 30Rock chapter #
  • @brimil I think @ShunMahoney has first dibs on my copy, but you can have it after him :) in reply to brimil #
  • @brimil Warning: At no point is it as hilarious as she was during the three minutes we spent IN THE SAME ROOM as her. in reply to brimil #
  • Fourish days of party later & I think it's safe to say that the hardest thing about being in a wedding party was all the sustained partying. #
