Radiohead is one of those bands that i just don’t get. Sure, they write good songs. Sure, they’re incredible musicians. But, i just don’t get their point. I listened to their new cd for about four hours at work today, and while there were several songs that were very catchy, it just didn’t sound like an album i could ever buy and want to listen to repeatedly. Even as “chillin’ music” (for which Radiohead tends to qualify in my book) they aren’t especially wonderful. I definitely prefer OK Computer, but there are some standout tracks to be heard on this one. I suppose it just isn’t the kind of album that wins a group new fans.
