I walked around in the rain today for hours. I really didn’t want to – what i really wanted to do was sleep in. But, eventually Matt persuaded me to wake up and join our friends on a random day in the city, and i wound up having (damp) fun. Included was the most excellent piece of cheesecake in the entire universe. It was the best culinary orgasm i’ve ever had. I’m going back on Monday to order a whole cake. Ummm….

How i can tell i’m in college: i walked into my kitchen looking to raid the fridge, but before i made it that far i saw a two hour-old piece of pizza and thought to myself “that is exactly what i want right now,” despite the fact that i have about five pounds of various thanksgiving leftovers in my fridge. Yep, college is all about the room-temperature pizza. Mmmmm.

You don’t even need to be a college student to appreciate cold pizza. I have never in my life had a pizza that was better hot than cold. That’s just the way it is…

wow… of all that food, i ate the entire cheesesteak and half the pizza. i must be headed for a growth spurt or something. omnivore says, grawr!

Would you believe that i haven’t ordered any food since i moved into the apartment? Not one pizza, nor any cheese-fries. I can’t believe its lasted this long… cause, i’m a freakin’ cheese fry addict. Every time i’ve ever been over the Player’s House and they’ve ordered food, i’ve gotten cheese fries. If i get anything other than pizza at a take-out restaurant i get cheese fries as well, even if i know i won’t have room for them. This summer, i made a habit out of getting two orders of cheese fries at a time at Drexel Pizza. And so on and so forth. A long time ago McDonald’s used to offer a little cup of cheese so that you could have cheese fries, but that went out of fashion while i was still in grade school. It’s a shame, because there’s nothing more essentially take-out/fast-food than cheese fries. Yum. Cheese Fries.
