Back from shopping with mom… boy was that fun. Anyhow, um… only Spoon from Illegal Op has mailed in any suggestions, and i already told the bastard that he was getting hosted. So, someone else chime up. In the meantime, i’m warming up for tonight’s Trio, which migh be all cover songs. I need one more suggestion, and i promise to give a shout out to whoever gives me a good one.

Amazon.com has this interesting feature where they attempt to triangulate your musical tastes based on the last few albums you’ve rated. So far i’s about 50% on the money on discs i love, and 25% in discs on my want list. The other 25% is just crap, though. Computers can only figure out so much on their own… although it’s failry sure i should buy Beth Orton’s “Central Reservation” or Aimee Mann’s “Whatever,” which is pretty freaking smart.

So many people should be in my CD collection and aren’t. Aimee Mann is an obvious one, and i’m trying to fix that. Dar Williams has been ignored for far to long. I hear that Kitty rocks pretty hard. I need some more Melissa Ferrick. … Any other cool chicks boasting songwriting and guitars that i need to buy? Tell Me About Them!

Blah, i hate when popular websites that are supposed to work don’t work. Now i’m obsessed with punching through Amazon‘s clunkiness so i can make a WishList of things i want, which is distracting me from my rampant blogging. I’m supposed to go grocery shopping today, but i am not in the mood. I don’t even think i’ve eaten yet… still surviving off of the sugar from last night.
