Back from shopping with mom… boy was that fun. Anyhow, um… only Spoon from Illegal Op has mailed in any suggestions, and i already told the bastard that he was getting hosted. So, someone else chime up. In the meantime, i’m warming up for tonight’s Trio, which migh be all cover songs. I need one more suggestion, and i promise to give a shout out to whoever gives me a good one.

If i could choose one of my favourite songs to own as though i wrote it myself, it might be this one:

I’m so afraid of making my next demo. The last one was so balanced, at least in reference to what’d been going on in my head at the time. Second albums are so strange, because they allow you to triangulate where an artist is actually heading. Of course, sometimes third albums aren’t even on the map. We’ll just have to wait and see. Still looking for two more songs to do for Trio, any suggestions?

Actually, with the radiator on the bathroom is quite nice. I wonder how the acoustics are in there. An inordinate number of bands have an amp in their bathroom when they record an album in a house. Even Ani gets in on the lavatory action. I suppose with the right amp and the right tile you get a good sound. Gotta ask about that in my recording studio class. Meanwhile, while washing my hands i managed to pick on song that i don’t mind playing for the Trio tonight. Still need suggestions for the other two.

Crap, i’m due for a Trio, aren’t i? I tried to get it over with yesterday but i had lost my voice the nite before in heated discussion with my mother. All of my theory and aural classes have left me basically loathing the moment where i strum my guitar and sing; out of over 100 songs that i’ve written there’s nary a one that i enjoy playing right now. Blargh. Someone please request something. Anything. Just don’t make me play my songs….
