The Krisis Pick of the Week: This is wild, but my pick is Rogue: The Savage Land (2025) #2! Can this be real? Is Krisis really highlighting a flashback retcon mini-series? If you read issue #1 you’d understand – as did literally every person who read this book who chimed in during my live stream review last month. Tim Seeley, Zulema Scotto Lavina, Rachelle Rosenberg, & Ariana Maher are delivering something that’s incredibly fun and that feels entirely on-voice who Rogue was at the end of Claremont’s run.

The Krisis Pick of the Week: Moon Knight: Fist of Khonshu (2024) #4! This is an easy pick for me, because I am still dangling from the intense cliffhanger of issue #3. Jed MacKay has never been afraid to move fast and break things with his multi-series run on Moon Knight, and that has kept it exciting.

Until April 5, I’ll be loosely mapping missing and most-wanted Marvel omnibus volumes every day! It’s finally time, y’all… time to MAP MY X. This post offers maps for X-Men solo titles and character other than Wolverine, who I’ll cover in the next post.

This post explains titles and potential Solo X-Men Omnibus Mapping for entries on the Tigereyes Most Wanted Marvel Omnibus 12th Annual Secret Ballot. You can vote right now (until 5 April 2024 @ midnight US ET) or watch our mega-length announcement stream reviewing every single voting option.

Of course, we could speculate about a “greatest hits” style omnibus of just about every X-Men character! But, this post focuses on characters that either have at least one of their own series or a compelling arc throughout their appearances.

Today I bring you a list of the best collections of new X-Men material released in 2011, which collect stories originally published over the last 18 months of comics.

Occasionally I wonder if comic collecting as an adult is merely a shameless attempt at recapturing our youth now that we have the budget to appreciate it properly – especially as I and many other fans (let’s be honest) fetishize premiere format reprints of the comics we coveted as a kids. (Last week’s post covered the best of those from 2011.)

Is there anything to this hobby other than rewarding our inner teenage geeks?

If there’s an answer to be found in X-Men comics, it must be on this list.
